Stephen M. Nipper joined the Firm in March of 1999.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of Idaho and the Federal District of Idaho.

Mr. Nipper has worked with an emphasis in patent and trademark prosecution, patent, trademark, and tradedress litigation, patent drafting, licensing. Mr. Nipper's main experience is in agriculture, the biological and chemical sciences, pharmaceuticals, mechanical arts, as well as with computer software and Internet related technologies.

An Idaho native, Mr. Nipper received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri in 1994.  He received his Juris Doctor in 1998 from Southern Illinois University School of Law at Carbondale.

Mr. Nipper has a patent law blog (blawg) covering news and information relevant to independent inventors, small businesses, interesting inventions, patents, trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property law in general. In addition, Mr. Nipper is one of the TechnoLawyer IP Memes Editors, where he writes a monthly column relating to emerging technology-related intellectual property issues for TechnoLawyer's roughly 10,000 members.
